Description: Pakistan, it feels great to be back eating around one of my favorite food cities, Karachi. Qadri Nalli Biryani Liaqatabad- Biryani in Karachi is a must eat. The most common type of Biryani you will encounter will be Sindhi Biryani which is known for its fiery red color, spice, and addition of dried prunes and potatoes. This place is really taking Sindhi Biryani to another level with bone marrow that is “knocked out” on your table. Still to this day one of the best Biryani I have ever had. They also have a few sweets you can choose from, you should get the Kheer. Its the best after an explosion of Biryani. FREE FOOD: Maybe around 2,700 rupees ($15) Madni Masjid, Street, Karachi Open Daily, 11am-11pm MashAllah Fish Katakat- I am not sure I want to eat fried fish any other way after having tried it this Pakistani way. Fried then thrown onto the hot griddle with cumin, coriander, mint, green chili, and more. All smashed and chopped together and enjoyed with a chapati. Purana dakhana chowrangi, Altaf Ali Barelvi Rd, Block 1 Liaquatabad Town, Karachi, Karachi City, Sindh Open daily, 10:30am-1am FREE FOOD: 400 rupees ($2.21) Liaquatabad's Famous Gol Gappay- The most famous spot for Gol Gappay. A family run spot now for over 40 years. For me you have to order the sweet cream as the sweet chutney, yogurt, and spicy water make the perfect combo. 11/6c Shahrah-e-Pakistan, C Area Liaquatabad Town, Karachi, Karachi City, Sindh Open Daily, 12pm-1am FREE FOOD: 120 ($0.66) Cafe Siraj- I was a little sad I didn’t get to show you all this last food, but happy nonetheless that I got to enjoy some malai chai with some good people.
